8.2 million packets of Tide, Gain, Ace, and Ariel detergent pods recalled over faulty packaging | CNN Business

Millions of packets of popular laundry detergent pods made by Procter & Gamble have been recalled due to faulty packaging, which pose a serious risk of accidental ingestion by young children and may cause facial injuries, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission said Friday.

The recall involves Tide, Gain Flings, Ace and Ariel liquid laundry detergent pod packets, which were made between September 2023 and February 2024 and sold in flexible film bags in the United States.
