France’s move to arrest Telegram founder Pavel Durov — after the app has been on the radar of governments for years — is raising questions about whether the U.S. might follow suit.

The app Telegram is in the spotlight since its founder, Pavel Durov, was arrested by French authorities over the weekend. Durov is still detained. He’s being questioned over Telegram’s alleged refusal to comply with law enforcement requests.
