SAN FRANCISCO — Archbishop Mitty point guard April Chan, content to let her talented teammates shine, did not shoot for most of the game Wednesday night.
Instead, she played tenacious defense and set up teammates with crisp passes.
But late in a game between the best teams in the West Catholic Athletic League, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-bound Chan needed to take charge.
