It was another Sunday afternoon shocker for Stanford, this time losing to Washington and former Bay Area News Group girls basketball player of the year Elle Ladine.
Of Stanford’s three losses this season, two were to middle-of-the-pack Pac-12 teams in USC and Washington — losses that look comparably bad to their competition for a No. 1 seed.
