Another blown lead, another season of double-digit losses.
The knee-jerk response after the Raiders’ 37-34 overtime loss to the 49ers Sunday at Allegiant Stadium, having lived through a lot of their misery over the last 28 years, is that it’s the same as it ever was.
The Raiders have had five winning records during that span, including last year’s out-of-nowhere 10-7 season that — sorry to say — was more fluke than substance.
