Until recently, the prospect of working four days a week was just wishful thinking for most workers. However, since the pandemic and the move to more flexible work patterns, many businesses have transitioned to a shorter working week.
Last year, six-month four-day workweek pilot schemes were rolled out across the U.K., U.S. and Canada, Ireland and Australia and New Zealand. Coordinated by 4 Day Week Global and researchers from Cambridge University and Boston College, the scheme proved successful.
