CLEVELAND — If the NBA had a popularity contest, Stephen Curry would be in the lead midway through the 2022-23 regular season.
That’s at least according to merchandise sales data released Friday by the NBA and National Basketball Players Association.
Fresh off of earning his first Finals MVP, Curry’s No. 30 jersey has been the most sought-after jersey among NBA fans this season, according to the report. It’s the first time he’s led the league in jersey sales since the 2017-18 NBA season.
LeBron James has the second-most popular jersey followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who checked in at No. 3 in jersey sales. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic and Kevin Durant round
