Sharks sign prolific Harvard defenseman to two-year contract

It didn’t take long for the San Jose Sharks to get defenseman Henry Thrun under contract.

One day after his season ended with the Harvard men’s hockey team, Thrun signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Sharks, the team announced Saturday.

Thrun is immediately joining the Sharks roster and could be in the team’s lineup as soon as Tuesday when San Jose hosts the Winnipeg Jets.
