Police in Pleasant Hill and Concord are searching for an outstanding suspect following a robbery and a police shooting Saturday afternoon, officials said.
According to Pleasant Hill police, they responded to an armed robbery call that occurred at a Verizon retail store in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard just before 3:30 p.m.
Officials said that two suspects entered the store and they threatened employees that they had a gun, and stole numerous cell phones. The suspects then fled in a vehicle and were later located by Pleasant Hill police in the area of Harrison Street and Concord Avenue in Concord, officials said.
