My cousin, a co-successor trustee, claims that presale seller inspections are “a waste of money.” He bluntly ended the group email to relatives, “If homebuyers want realty inspectors, let them pay for them.”

If it is shrewd to have presale seller inspections, is it irresponsible to wait for homebuyers to decide if they will or will not hire one or more realty inspectors? If so, why?
