East Bay director Joslyn Rose Lyons is behind “STAND,” a new sports documentary about former NBA player Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, with a global release this Friday on Showtime.
Lyons works with the best in sports and entertainment, and she doesn’t go far to find inspiration.
