Distracted driving kills nine people in the U.S. every day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian, whose district includes Los Gatos, aims to increase awareness about the dangers of distracted driving with a telephone town hall on Sunday, March 26, 11 a.m.-noon.

Leaders will discuss current laws and practices meant to reduce the likelihood of crashes caused by distractions. Simitian will be joined
