Saratogans’ app allows dog owners to trade info, resources

Ruchi Joshi and Purvi Janardhan, longtime Saratoga residents and dog lovers, have co-founded theDogHood.com, a dog-care platform dedicated to dog parents. It’s a free app that connects dog owners automatically by city so they can share local resources, services and tips, and create playdates and gatherings. The app has grown to include 400 cities, and Saratoga is among the fastest-growing in the Bay Area.
