San Jose: Man arrested in connection to January attempted kidnapping

A man was arrested last week after an early January incident in which he allegedly held a knife to a woman’s neck, according to the San Jose Police Department.

Police say officers responded to a report of a kidnapping on the 5000 block of Lapa Drive, near John Mise Park, at 9 p.m. on Jan. 10. The suspect allegedly approached a woman from behind, held a knife to her throat and forced her to sit down on a nearby sidewalk.
