San Jose: Man arrested in connection to father’s death

A man was arrested on suspicion of homicide after his father died in what was ruled a suspicious death on Saturday in East San Jose, according to authorities.

San Jose police responded to a report of a person down at the 2500 block of Fontaine Road at 6:36 a.m. Saturday and found a man unconscious and not breathing. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation led authorities to a nearby motel, where a person of interest was apparently staying. An adult male, the victim’s son, was arrested on suspicion of homicide at the motel. Police did not publicly identify him.
