Red and green BART lines temporarily shut down Thursday morning

Two BART lines were shut down and others were delayed in both directions early Thursday because of unscheduled track maintenance, the agency said.

Service was suspended on the red line from Richmond to Millbrae and the green line from Berryessa to Daly City as of 6 a.m. Thursday. BART alerted potential commuters of the closures at 5:29 a.m.

As of 6:21 a.m., the agency said red and green service had resumed.

There is currently no Red line service between Richmond and Millbrae and no Green line service between Berryessa and Daly City station.
