Rapper Snoop Dogg goes country with new line of Western threads

Long Beach rap legend Snoop Dogg is going from bow-wow-wow to yee-haw with a new line of Western-inspired streetwear.

Stevenson Ranch, a Nashville, Tenn.-based apparel company, and the hip-hop giant have teamed up to create a line that mixes cowboy culture and urban street styles in the form of trucker hats, T-shirts and crewneck sweaters, all with a little help from the Compton Cowboys.

“We’re mixing two demographics,” said Ben Foley, founder of Stevenson Ranch. “We pretty much got the entire middle America and he’s got the coast and Snoop is one of the biggest icons of the last 100 years. I don’t think there’s a soul in the country,
