A modest, ranch-style home in San Jose has sold for $2.05 million despite overall falling home prices in the region.

Higher mortgage rates and recession fears have chopped Bay Area home prices, but this 1,349-square-foot home still sold for $150,000 over its original listing price.

The property has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and features a living room, formal dining room and two fireplaces. Outside, there is a large backyard with a patio area, side yard and two sheds.
