Mountain View woman, 58, killed in auto-pedestrian crash

A woman died Saturday after being struck in a hit-and-run crash two days earlier in Mountain View.

The 58-year-old Mountain View woman was hit by a late 2000s Nissan sedan shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday on El Camino Real between Clark and Escuela avenues, according to the Mountain View Police Department. The woman was taken to a hospital and died two days later.

Her name has not been released, because investigators are still trying to confirm her identity.

The driver of the Nissan fled, and Mountain View police have yet to make any arrests. Investigators are asking for help locating that Nissan, which has damage to its passenger side.
