The Marshall Tucker Band is celebrating 50 years of playing Southern rock with a tour that stops at Campbell’s Heritage Theatre, 1 W. Campbell Ave., on Jan. 28.

Named after a blind piano tuner whose name they found inscribed on a key to their original rehearsal space in 1972, the band has released more than 20 studio albums and a score of live releases, and has racked up multi-platinum album sales many times over. Hits
