M3.7 Earthquake Rattles East of Morgan Hill: USGS

A preliminary 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck Monday morning near Morgan Hill, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 5:58 a.m. and was centered about 8 miles east of Morgan Hill, the USGS said.

No other information was immediately available.
