SJSU should strengthen
college of engineering
I appreciate The Mercury News for highlighting the new San Jose State president’s priorities(“New SJSU President’s top priority: Listening to students,” Page A1, Feb. 1).
I think SJSU should strengthen the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering which has remained a hub of tech revolution in Silicon Valley and the world at large. It should initiate and coordinate global outreach programs around multinational engineering education.
It will help the college to produce outstanding engineers who are technically excellent, globally informed and socially responsible.
