Closures slated for Highway 101, State Route 17

SANTA CLARA COUNTY – Temporary closures of Highway 101 and State Route 17 are slated to begin Thursday, according to the California Department of Transportation.

Highway 101 will be closed at De La Cruz Boulevard/Trimble Road to remove an old freeway overcrossing, Caltrans said in an advisory. From 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound lanes will be closed Thursday-Friday and northbound lanes will be closed April 3-6. On- and off-ramps will be used to route traffic around the closed sections.

In addition, De La Cruz Boulevard will be closed through April 6 between Central Expressway and Seaboard Avenue, but not over the weekend.
