California governor candidates make stops in the Bay Area as election nears

Candidates for California governor were circling the state Tuesday, including a few who made stops in the Bay Area. Sergio Quintana reports.

California’s June primary election is officially one week away.

Candidates for governor were circling the state Tuesday, including a few who made stops in the Bay Area.

Democrat Tom Steyer dropped off his ballot at San Francisco City Hall, while Democrat Xavier Becerra paid a visit to a firefighters’ union hall.

Republican Steve Hilton and Democrat Matt Mahan, the current mayor of San Jose, were both in the South Bay for events.
