After trades, San Jose Sharks recall top prospect from AHL

SAN JOSE – William Eklund was recalled by the San Jose Sharks from the AHL on Friday.

Eklund, 20, considered the Sharks organization’s top prospect, has played 52 games for the San Jose Barracuda this season and has 17 goals and 41 points — tied for third-most among all AHL rookies.
