5 vehicles stolen from Alameda County parking garage in Oakland

Five Alameda County Sheriff’s Office vehicles were stolen in Oakland Sunday morning, according to authorities.

Five vehicles were stolen from an Alameda County parking garage in Oakland Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The sheriff’s office said personnel discovered that the Alameda County Parking Garage at 165 13th Street in Oakland was burglarized at 7:16 a.m., and five vehicles were stolen, including Alameda County vehicles and a sheriff’s office vehicle.

Officials said investigators initially recovered four vehicles, and they were looking for the fifth. Later, authorities told NBC Bay Area the last outstanding vehicle was found.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Sheriff’s officials initially reported five sheriff’s office vehicles were stolen, but they later clarified that four of them were county vehicles and at least one was a sheriff’s office unmarked vehicle.
