A storm continued to bring scattered downpours across the Bay Area on Wednesday, causing multiple problems such as flooding, downed trees and wires and road closures.

VTA overhead electrical line snaps in downtown San Jose

An overhead electrical wire on a VTA light rail line in downtown San Jose snapped, interrupting service between the San Antonio and Convention Center stops. Crews were on the scene to repair the line, with a 3 p.m. estimated time of completion, the VTA said.
