San Jose: Person injured in stabbing

SAN JOSE — A person was hospitalized after an injury stabbing incident Sunday, authorities said.

In a social-media post, police said dispatchers received a call shortly after 2:50 p.m. about a possible stabbing near Almaden Expressway and Highway 85.

When officers and San Jose Fire Department firefighters responded, they found a person suffering from at least one stab wound.

After providing care, the person was taken to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, police said. In a follow-up social-media post, police said the victim’s condition had been stabilized, with injuries no longer life-threatening.
