M3.9 Earthquake Rattles South of Hollister: USGS

A preliminary 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday morning south of Hollister, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 6:33 a.m. and was centered about 21 miles southeast of Hollister, the USGS said.

No other information was immediately available.
