Girls: “Tiny but mighty” sophomore leads St. Francis to CCS D-II crown

St. Francis point guard Maia Jimenez frequently is the shortest player on the court. But she plays big.

The sophomore scored 23 points Saturday and went 16-for-18 from the free-throw line to lead the Lancers past Christopher 66-52 in the Central Coast Section Division II final at Mission College.
