The Antioch City Council will consider a temporary halt to liquor store applications as well as whether to pursue state Homekey Program funding for housing homeless residents during a special meeting on Thursday.
The council meeting, which will begin at 5 p.m., will include a discussion on whether staff should prepare an ordinance to temporarily halt new liquor store applications for up to 45 days while the council decides whether to ban new ones.
