Arrest made in San Jose food vendor baseball bat attack

An employee of a San Jose auto parts store was arrested Saturday after allegedly attacking a food vendor at the 1400 block of Old Bayshore Highway.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. when a food vendor told authorities he had been attacked by a 43-year-old male employee at Intex Auto Parts with a baseball bat. The employee also allegedly tried to move the food vendor’s car in an attempted carjacking.
