The Choco Taco is not quite dead yet

“We’ve heard our fans, and we’re hoping to bring this favorite treat back to ice cream trucks in the coming years!” Klondike tweeted at a despondent fan on Wednesday. After Klondike confirmed that Choco Taco was getting chopped, people mourned the product online. Some tossed out ideas for how to bring it back. “I’d like to buy the rights to your Choco Taco and keep it from melting away from future generations’ childhoods,” Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian tweeted at Unilever (UL), Klondike’s parent company. Senator Chris Murphy joked that he was planning to introduce “legislation to invoke the Defense Production Act to mandate the continued manufacture of Choco Tacos.”
