Shooting in East San Jose leaves one man injured

A man is recovering after being shot Saturday night in East San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The man was shot at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday near Berkeley Way and Dobern Avenue, the police department reported on Twitter. He was taken to a hospital, and he is expected to survive.

Last night Officers also responded to a shooting incident in the area of Berkeley Wy and Dobern Av.

One adult male was transported to a local hospital. His injuries were later determined to be non-life threatening.

Unknown suspect or motive at this time.
