San Jose: Motorcyclist killed in crash near CEFCU Stadium

SAN JOSE – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday near CEFCU Stadium in San Jose, police said.

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office has not released the motorcyclist’s identity; however, a GoFundMe campaign has identified him as Will Sivongxay.

The crash was reported at about 8:30 a.m. near South 7th Street and East Alma Avenue, the San Jose Police Department said in a news release.

Police said a preliminary investigation revealed the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on South 7th Street when he collided with a blue 2017 Ford truck that had pulled out in front of him while attempting to turn left from the west shoulder
