Equator Coffees ventures south to Burlingame, Bay Trail

Need a jolt of java to fuel your bayshore run or bike ride?

Equator Coffees has made its first foray south of San Francisco and Oakland, opening a Peninsula cafe in Burlingame, near the Bay Trail.

The coffeehouse started brewing this week at Burlingame Point, a complex of office towers built on 18 bayfront acres east of Highway 101. Nearby are Fisherman’s Park, San Francisco International Airport and the trail that loops through the Bay Area.

Earlier this summer, Equator took up residence in another bayside property — San Francisco’s Round House, an art deco building with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
