San Jose airport launches return of coast-to-coast flights amid COVID outbreak

San Jose International Airport is resuming coast-to-coast flights for the first time since the coronavirus outbreak with the relaunch of service between the South Bay and Boston.

Jet Blue is providing the flights connecting San Jose with Boston, airport officials said Thursday.

The first flight was slated to be a red-eye trip scheduled for departure at 9:15 p.m. Thursday aboard an Airbus A320 aircraft, according to the airport.
