Housing prices leave
SJSU students in bind

As a 21-year-old college student attending San Jose State University, I am very concerned about the housing situation for students.

Apartments have become so expensive that many students can not afford to live close to campus. Although there are options such as having roommates and even housemates it is still very expensive. When I was a sophomore, I ended up renting a room in a large Victorian house. For just a small room I paid $900. To my surprise, that was the cheapest I could find. The
