With the outcry for schools to reopen there are legitimate reasons why they should open but also legitimate reasons why they shouldn’t.
Many teachers are performing multiple tasks — parent, employee and remote teacher. Some have had to quit their jobs to be home with their children to assist with school work. Students have greatly suffered academically and socially, but some education staff are cancer survivors or diabetics, or have heart disease, kidney disease.
