Draft churches to be
vaccination centers

This insightful article from the Kaiser Foundation about the role of black churches in raising vaccine awareness (“Black churches filling a unique role in combating vaccine fears,” Page B1, Feb. 28 ) leads me to wonder why we don’t also distribute vaccines through houses of worship.

Most churches probably have a doctor or nurse congregant who could administer doses. All have staff and volunteers to help with administration and are experienced in organizing group activities. Reticent congregants would be more comfortable signing up with their own
