SAN JOSE — A man who was shot Tuesday night outside a coffeehouse on Monterey Road has died from his injuries, marking San Jose’s sixth homicide of the year, according to police.
The shooting was reported about 8:45 p.m. at Café Paradise, located near the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds and across from Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Police said that after a man was shot in the parking lot, he went inside the café seeking help. He was taken to a local hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries, and died early Thursday. His identity has not been released publicly pending the formal notification of his next
